Doug, - Just need to get the appraisal, safety inspection, and try for the insurance once more

Haven't gotten there yet since the last attempt last year. I'll be getting the CG Aux vessel safety inspection along with the appraisal to hopefully get farther along in the process. I've also taken multiple sailing courses and am also working with the USCG Auxiliary as a responder now, so hopefully that will make things easier for me this time. Wood hull definitely seems like a no-go for most insurance providers unless it's a classic yacht or chris craft. I'll update with any progress or walls that I hit, or hopefully success. Fingers crossed. I can do liability but it's not me I'm worried about, it all the others out there traveling at 10x the speed.

AIS - B Transponder and antenna

I said the electrical was done, but I had one more thing to complete the comms side of things. My AIS B transponder build was just completed. My original plan was off of the gallows but once everything was rigged I realized the length and sweep of the boom was going to be an issue. I'll play around but am figuring this will be adjacent to the tabernacle on the starboard side now. The antenna mount releases quickly and will allow it to lay prone in storage position.
