We are not very far along, but I am planning for the future.
Apparently I'm a boat builder. I will have to wait to find out if I'm a sailor.

I had not seen the posts about adding weight to the centerboard. I am just about ready to fair mine and epoxy. Maybe I should add some more weight while I can. Thanks for the heads up!!

I just checked my centerboard (from kit) and the lead is about 8.5” x 4.25” but the plans show 10 x 5. Oddly, the plans say that’s 20 lbs, but the centerboard is 0.75” thick and that calculates out to 15.3 lbs (20 lbs if it was 1”). Mine calculates to just over 11. Either way I am light.
