Preventing Floorboards Bending Up At Ends

Postby Hooky on Fri Jan 20, 2023 1:54 am

If you find the floorboards bending up due to the distance from BH8 and floor 7. (These are the floorboards that are not secured by screws at the very ends. Then screw a small piece of ply to the underside end of the offending floorboard and slide it beneath the neighboring secured floorboard.
This will pull the bend down level and no more bend at the end.
See my floorboard tip on the blog! plenty of pics.
Cheers Terry from down under.
