Mainsail outhaul cleat question

Hi again.
What type of cleat do builders use to secure the mainsail outhaul on the boom?
The cleat is not included in the kit, and I am wondering what would be best.
Many thanks in advance for your advice.
Steve in the UK.

I used a generic 4-inch $1.69 black plastic cleat.

But I rarely adjust it, and I could have simply lashed the clew of the sail to the end of the boom, the way Pocketship #1 is currently set up.

More important is the reefing set up. You really must have easy-to-use reefing, and the plans and parts list do not cover it at all.

I added the deluxe single-line setup that PS #1 currently has. (You can see it in the PC photo gallery at clcboats.com: look
for the photos labeled "This series of photos is from mid-May 2019"). This setup needs a bunch of hardware and probably
cost me about $200, but it is easy to use when things get rough.

Thanks Doug. I have been worrying about the reefing arrangements for a few weeks, or rather the complete lack of them.

Here is what the setup at the mast looks like:
