Main sheet block and dead eye attachment points

Postby slash2 on Sun Sep 24, 2023 8:23 pm

I’m feeling pretty stupid but I cannot see where the measurements for the main sheet blocks and deadeye locations are shown. I could measure it off the drawing on the front of the plans, but can someone direct me if it’s actually stated somewhere? Locations of blocks etc. do seem dispersed among the plans and the manual, so it seems I’m always hunting, but so far this one is avoiding me.TIA!

You mean on the boom? Just be sure that the rear deadeye will not interfere with the gallows. You might want to wait until the boat is completely assembled before attaching those parts.

Yes, sorry, on the boom. So just figure it out when it’s rigged. I guess that makes sense. Hopefully that will be real soon!

As always, thanks, Doug for your help.
