Haulover inlet-how would Pocketship perform in choppy curren

Hi all,
This question is for better seamen than myself. My son and I love watching the videos of speedboats going through Haulover inlet (& etc) on Youtube, with thankfully few accidents but plenty of people going too fast, no life jackets, etc. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH3nsTqdAd8
There are precious few videos of slow displacement boats in these conditions. Since I will never be attempting this myself with my life on the line..... I can't rely on practical experience here. How would Pocketship perform under these conditions (assuming the current wasn't fast enough to prevent you from making headway)?
