Cheap teak?

Postby drunkensailor on Sun Nov 01, 2009 6:51 pm

Just had an idea about where to get teak. Craigslist furniture section has many teak pieces for very cheap. I saw a solid teak coffee table 42" x 19.5" in near perfect condition for only $100. Is there anything wrong with using this type of teak in a marine setting? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to cut a table top into usable strips of teak. Sorry if I'm way out in left field, just obsessed with teak right now.
