BOW FLOWTATION

I'm thinking about filling the bow area with spray cans of foam. It looks like it would be much easier than cutting all those pieces of foam. Is there any reason not to use this foam?

You should read the first 2 pages of the thread titles "Jeff's pocketship progress". He used 2 part pour in expanding foam made for this application. Look at his pictures he did an excellent job with it. And be sure to read John's post at the top of the second page discussing possible problems with the expanding foam.

Just finished putting flotation in the bow. Used two pieces of 1 1/2 inch pink foam board to form the opening in the center of the area. Then used eight cans of spray foam to fill the rest of the area. I'm happy with the way it turned out.
