Resin gone bad?

Postby SHyland83 on Sun Apr 24, 2011 7:50 am

I bought my kit 2 years ago and I just went to open my second 5 gallon container of resin. It looks like it settled and is thicker and more of a white color on the bottom. I don't have 500 bucks to replace it. Do we think it's OK? Should i try to mix up the resin? Please help.

I just took a closer look and the bottom inch of the container is hard as a rock. :(

That's no good! The shelf life should be indefinite unless the resin has been frozen. Freezing (or close-to-freezing) kills it.

Get in touch with us and we'll figure out what's going on.
