Electrical Systems

Postby aschilpp on Wed May 25, 2011 10:11 am

I was wondering if folks on here could help spec out some of the components they used for their electrical systems. (John had a nice post awhile back on his electrical components but never identified any model #'s etc.) I'm curious about everything from what type of battery they have and how they keep it charged to what type of power panel and electrical accessories they may have installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers all!

I am still gathering much of my electrical equipment, but have settled on many of the major components. Hope to have a more complete list later, but here is a start:

GPS and stereo - scroll down to see photos and description: http://buildingpocketship.wordpress.com ... sing-done/
Group 24 AGM battery (west marine, I suggest waiting for a sale on these guys)
solar panels, either flexible panels or http://www.nationalsolarsupply.com/inde ... ProdID=899
electrical panel - scroll down: http://buildingpocketship.wordpress.com ... -the-roof/
*all panel components from http://www.Defender.com, "spray proof switch panel", etc.
Interior and mast top LED, from bebi electronics
