Auxillery engine tachometer / cumulative timer

Did you notice the little black object set on Tattoo's transom next to the engine in the first photo posted in my Auxillery line? A really nifty device costing about $35 plus shipping. Requires no batteries. Works on two and four stroke engines. It gets its signal from a wire that is simply wound 3 times around the engine's spark plug wire. When the engine is running it shows rpm.
