Outstanding! Love the relief. I thought about doing it but wasn't sure how -- thought maybe buying a relief online for relatively cheap, then building a frame, then sticking it on the boat. Yours looks hand carved and perfectly sized. Love wooden boats that look like wooden boats. Can't wait to see it live - hopefully we can coordinate something soonish.

Mine's underway now. The keel assembly is almost done. I expect to be pouring lead soon. Great fun! I retired on June 7 so expect to make fast progress now.

Just noticed the first post--only took me about a year :) I live in Oklahoma, but my wife is from Madison, WI, and is after me to retire and move up to that area. I'm all for it for the most part, except that our sailing season is much longer down here. Anyway, I'm just getting started on my build, so will probably still be working on it when and if we move up there. Would be great to meet you folks and perhaps join your fleet. I see that Truenorth is in Minnesota--he has been of great help answering my questions on the forum.
