Pocketship Adventures

Hello everyone,
Hope you are enjoying the holidays. I wanted to start a post for more sailing photos or other sailing adventure stories.

To start it off, check out the pictures and video with a bunch of dolphins playing around 'Garage Sail'. To me, this is a big reason to have an outboard- where even if the weather is calm with almost zero wind, you can still get out and have a great time.

Hey Sean, great idea. Thanks for posting the continuing adventures of Garage Sail. It is fun to see what kind of fun can be had in these little boats! I've watched the dolphin video a half dozen times already. Dolphins + outstanding weather = reasons to be jealous of boaters in Santa Barbara!

I second the thought about the outboard. I've been trying to chronicle some of the voyages of Solitude III on my blog, including a rather long journey on a windless day: http://leeboatworkspocketship.blogspot.com/2012/11/close-enough.html

Didn't want to let people forget that this thread exists...hopefully more people will share their sea stories! OK, it is still winter, so maybe there aren't a lot of Pocketshippers out there having adventures...except for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere...

Anyway, here's another Pocketship encounter with marine mammals...I admit it, I was jealous of Sean and his dolphins... :-)

Thank you . What a great story and video. I have not been brave enough to take Naoned back on the water this year but these video are making me very impatient . Thank you again for sharing. :)
