I'm putting the paint on the top sides now, and was wondering about non skid surfaces. Anyone used sand, etc? If so, where? Or is there something better? Or is it needed at all? Thanks for the input, Captain Charlie

I used Interlux Interdeck non skid paint on the horizontal surfaces of the cockpit, cabin, and anchor well. It certainly makes it easier to walk forward to the anchor well when necessary and cuts down on sun glare. On the downside, being rough makes it harder to keep clean than the nice shiny Interlux Brightsides paint. But the safety and convenience factor probably outweighs that.
