Cheers All!

I have 'haunted" your forum for about a year now.

I was about to make decision to build a PocketShip when I noticed Dave Curtis's "So True" was up for sale. We will be closing the deal soon and I will take over the care of Dave's beautiful PocketShip in a week or so after a 4,800 km roadtrip to Winnnipeg and back to pick her up.

My name is Mike. I live just north of Montreal, Canada. My favourite cruising grounds for those who may know Eastern Canada are the Saguenay Fjord-Lac St-Jean and the St-Lawrence off then coast of Charlevoix. Beautiful places to cruise!

Looking forward to sharing my experiences aboard "So True" with the rest of you in the future.

See you soon, Dave! (E's the B'y that built the boat)

Fair Winds!

I's the B'y

That's great news! Glad to hear So True will have a nice home, and a Canadian one to boot, eh!

@ Truenorth: Are you a fellow Canuck? Your moniker "Truenorth" seems to indicate so. If so, where's home?

Nope, not a Canuck, though quite a few friends from up there. Then again, I'm in Minnesota, USA, so might as well be Canada.

Hello Mike!

Not sure if this will reach you as its been a while since this post.

Do you still own "So True"? I'm a fellow Montrealer contemplating a Pocketship build and I would love to see one in person, and also to get some advice on her sailing qualities.

Please let me know if it wouldn’t be too much trouble. Thanks and hope to speak soon!

John
