I see your dilemma. BTW, I was about to edit my last post to read "Maximum Displacement" since you are talking about the fully-loaded state. Anyway, maybe it would be a good idea to state the payload, etc. somewhere in the narrative text. Personally, I think it is a good selling point if people know the little boat can carry that much weight.

I would contact CLC. They sent me one out of the blue just 'cause I ordered a kit from them.
