Spinnaker Sheet Block Location.

I've never owned a boat with a spinnaker and I haven't purchased one for my PocketShip yet, but plan to in the future. I have the spinnaker blocks waiting to be installed but the manual doesn't give the exact location. It tells you to set the spinnaker in the driveway and determines the correct location for the blocks. I have no idea how to do this. I'm going to be buying the spinnaker from CLC so if someone knows the location (or has figured it out) please let me know. I'd rather get as much of the hardware as I can installed on the boat in the comfort of my garage and while it's in the cradle.

Thanks,
Bill

Before posting the same question I used the search and this came up. Anyone know an answer?

Just got this from John C. Harris. I figured it would be a nice addition to those who may search this forum in the future...

Great! Could of used this 2 years ago! I still don't have a spinnaker but I scaled the dimension off of several photos of the prototype PocketShip. Since I knew how long the cockpit was I was able to figure out (turns out pretty closely) where I should place them. I checked mine a few minutes ago and they are at 26 inches from the bulkhead. Not bad working from pictures! Guess it's time to order that spinnaker.

Nice job! John Harris has really been great getting back to me on email questions. Anyone who wants to build a Pocketship, I can say is CLC is awesome and so is the boat.

Just a useful added benefit: When sailing solo and not planning on using the spinnaker, which I have quite often, I like to run the jib sheets back to the spinnaker blocks. They are easier to reach without moving around the cockpit.

Another added benefit: It gives you another place to secure your dock fenders : )
