Candy-O is launched!

Postby John in CC on Mon Jun 01, 2015 3:20 pm

Successful first launch yesterday of Candy-O!

There were thunderstorms in the area, light rain, light winds and a really cool rainbow.

Sure is fun when everything comes together and works as well as it did. Solid is a great description of how everything felt. I got great advice from my friend who joined me for the first ride. My daughter showed up with her camera. It was a great day!

One week until I take Candy-O down south for the Texas 200. It will finish up North.

Looks beautiful! You made it just in time, too. Have fun on the cruise. I would love to bring mine down to the gulf coast and tool around for a week.

Wow, she's just magnificent. Well done, congrats, and good luck in the Texas race. I've learned a lot from you in this forum and your blog - thanks.

Dead lights came from http://www.sailboatstuff.com/cb_fix_porthole_deadlight_deck_prism.html

They were a bit pricy but...oh well : )
