Interluxe 33...primer first?

Hey,

I see the build manual states that interlux 33 is applied directly to the expoxy/glass, but shouldn't there be a primer? Just nervous. I'm about the start my hull painting and want to get it right.

Nope... No primer. This stuff holds great on fiberglass. I sanded the bottom down to #220 and then cleaned with the recommended proprietary cleaner (it tells you on the can) and then rolled the stuff on. Two coats looked ok, 3 was much better.

What kind of coverage can you get from this stuff? Is one quart enough for the bottom?

I bought 2 quarts... One didn't cover it at the thickness that the specs call for. I didn't use all of the 2nd quart. You might be able to get by buying a quart and a pint.
