Hi Everyone,

I was helping out with the scrap metal recycling program at church today and ran across a bunch of 1/4"stainless steel turn buckles. The working range is about 6" to 8", they're marked 316 for the metal alloy, and have 1/4" pins on both ends. The only weird thing about them is one end looks like the pin hole is 5/16". I liberated six pairs if anyone needs some for their stays. There's a lot more there too but another member who sails with the Wayzata Yacht Club has spotted them too so they might not make it through the night. I'd have to keep any shipping inside the US though.

I have my stays rigged with polyester line now but am interested in trying the turnbuckles. I like the simplicity of the line, but I can't ever seem to tighten the stays as much as I would like. I sent you a message.
