Replacement LED lights

With the days getting shorter I had to use the nav lights for first time this season tonight. Three years ago when the Charles B. Haertl was finished I used an old Attwood removable all around light that was laying around and put an LED bulb in it. I knew it had lost a couple elements in it last year but tonight it was down to four out of twenty elements still working. Needless to say I doubt I was still legal. Anyone else have issues with these replacement bulbs? This one might have five hours on it and cost about $30.
