Hi all, just joined this forum and am interested how many PocketShip builders are in the PNW. I'm in Seattle and interested in seeing one first hand. On a related beginner's note, in sending private messages, mine seem stuck in my "Outbox" and not actually sent. Can anyone point me what I need to do? BTW, the collective expertise on building is really impressive! Thanks!

A message in the outbox is sent, but not yet read by the recipient. When it's read by them, it comes out of your outbox. This forum needs a way to receive email notification that you have a message. I've found that many people don't look at the message indicator and so don't receive my messages for a long time.

Note that there will be a PocketShip at the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend this weekend, September 11-12-13. Many thanks to Jerry for bringing his boat!

I second Craig's point that message recipients need some kind of e-mail notification that there is a message in their box. I have finally trained myself to check regularly for messages--I'm sure senders have been frustrated in the past.
