Okoumefest 2016!

May 13-14th. Now that I live closer to the east coast, I'm excited to finally attend. 'Titania' will be making an appearance, of course. My tentative plan is to launch the boat a day's sail away, cruise up and anchor out/sleep on the boat during the conference, then sail back to my car on Sunday. I also wouldn't mind walking away with one of those T-shirts at the judging competition, although I'll be the first to admit that Titania is nowhere near podium quality.

Anybody else going? If so, make sure to look me up when you get there.

Hi Craig:

You'll love it! I've been attending for quite a few years and it's a blast. I live just north of Baltimore so it's only 1.5 hour drive for me. Took the Skerry that I built one year. Matapeake State Park beach is just a few miles south of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on the eastern side of the Bay; perfect place for the event. Let me know if you need any help while in my neck of the woods.....See you there.
