Dana,
It looks to me like John in CC used graphite/epoxy on the bottom of his boat in lieu of paint. I'm wondering how it's held up so far since I'm considering doing the same on mine. That's why I posed the question. However, it's good to hear the paint on yours is doing well too.

Now that you mention it I believe he did. Perhaps he will respond or you could send him a private message. He would know about it only if he happens to check, though.

No graphite/epoxy. I used the interlux antifouling paint that was suggested in the manual...it's just black.

For now I have gone with a fan I bought at West Marine. It plugs into the cigarette lighter/power outlet thing and has a suction cup to fold it in place. I figure that way I can experiment with it without getting too permanent. I fired it up today and it really seems like it will make a difference.
