I have received shipment completed the build-out of my Trailex trailer - this week I will be moving my pocketship (El Sea Bien) from the garage, and onto the trailer for my first launch.

Does anyone have tips or techniques you used to set the bunks at the right height and the right angle? I am cautions (and smart) enough to know not to be reaching in under the bunks and loosening and repositioning the height and angles with the boat on the trailer, but I see no real practical way to be loading and unloading the boat for 'trial fittings' or adjustments.

Any advice or experiences anyone can pass to me on how to effectively measure and ensure a good fit on the first try?

Last time I adjusted the bunks on mine I used the tie down ratchets to hold the boat upright against one side while adjusting the other. Most of the weight is on the keel trough and if you have someone helping they can hold the boat upright while you adjust them too. I'd recommend a safety strap doing that though. If they aren't paying attention and the boat tips more then about 30 degrees they won't be able to stop it.
