Keelson and Electrical panel

Postby riverron on Sat Jul 02, 2016 8:07 pm

I have a couple questions.

1) for the keelson there is a space where it fits on the keel. Is the space supposed to be on the bow or aft of the keel/centerboard assembly?
Each of the floor supports have a part that looks like it fits into a slot. It looks like floor #4 needs the slot, but want to make sure, which would mean the slot is on the bow.

2) for those of you that have/or installed electrical panels, did you cut out the space before or after you installed bulkhead #2. I want to have an electrical panel, but I am unsure of the measurements or requirements. It would be easier to me to cut out the space before I attach bulkhead 32.

thanks

Hi Ron,

The slot goes forward for the tab on floor 4. The panel can be done either way, just cut it a little small so you have a flange to attach the panel to.

Thanks Chris for confirming the keelson and floor #4.

I think I am going to wait on the electrical panel. I need to come up with a plan as to what I want to have before cutting holes!
