garage space/winter storage with trailor

Hi all,

Can someone give me the dimensions I would need in my garage to keep the pocketship stored over the winter? My neighborhood covenant does not allow street parking for boats

Also can it stay on the stand that you use to build it once completed for winter storage? I'm assuming that it would sit lower on the stand than on a trailer.

Thoughts? Info is gretly appreciated. Dan

The top of the tabernacle is 77 11/16ths or 78 inches. with it removed it is about 59 inches. I don't know what trailer you will be using, so you would need to add that to the height. I think most standard garage doors are not going to be high enough for trailer and boat with tabernacle. Others have installed removable tabernacles and hopefully those builders will weigh in.

I would not think storing the boat on the cradle with carpet would hurt the boat, but you would need to figure out how to get it on/off. That may be a challenge, but they do sell boat jacks. Also, I assume your neighborhood would not allow the trailer to be parked in the yard/ driveway as well. So you would need to figure out the storage for that.

I think the removable tabernacle may be the best bet. I need to search this forum for the removable tabernacle. I also need to consider this for my build as well.
