Vennering

Hi all,

I have heard of some using a carbon fiber mast but veenering it with spruce. Anyone try it or have resources how to do this. ?

At this year's Wooden Boat Festival, I saw that PocketShip #1 was recently retrofitted with a spruce-covered carbon gaff. I didn't really inspect it close enough to be able to tell you much about its construction, though.
