Pocketship "Perfecto" Part 3 video just launched

Postby Lazy Lucy on Mon Nov 21, 2016 12:30 pm

Hi gang, I posted to YouTube, three videos, here's my latest: https://youtu.be/sUtrauSh30Y. on the making of Perfecto.
She is the only Pocketship I am aware of that has been stretched by 1' and the cabin and foot well modified.
Type in "Pocketship Perfecto" into the YouTube search to view all three.
Let me know what you think and if they were helpful. Thanks, Scott

Wow - very impressive build. You clearly have great woodworking skills, and the right amount of confidence and patience to have done what you have. Looks really nice.

I love the Maiden's Head - your craftsmanship really shows on that piece. I'd love to do something similar (but much less complex ;).

In the 2 videos, I did not see any pictures of the finished boat - do you have some final pictures, or pictures of Perfecto on the water to share?

I never considered lengthening mine - just seemed to be too risky as I know nothing about the impacts that such an endeavor would have on the sailing characteristics, loads, trailering, etc on the boat, so I went mostly 'stock' on my build.
