Another Texas 200 : )
Posted: Sat May 27, 2017 8:40 pmIn 16 days I will make my 3rd attempt at finishing the Texas 200. The first year I really rushed to get there and learned a lot in the process. My hometown is along the route a bit over halfway so I stopped there after a few days on the water.
Last year, I was have a bit of centerboard trouble due to my building error (easily and now corrected) so I bailed out again at my hometown after four days on the water. The difference was I was feeling great, was able to rest, and really didn't want to stop like the first year. I made a little documentary that is posted on Youtube and I am amazed and humbled that it has gotten the amount of traffic it has. https://youtu.be/EwAEeIBHr38
I am ready to do it again! This time with more experience and knowledge than ever. This includes knowing the boat and learning a bit about filmmaking. There will be a sequel to "Two Hundred Miles in a 15 foot Boat". This time will be the best : ) I'll post the youtube link here when I upload the new video or you can subscribe for an alert.
