Jeff, thanks for the quick response. I have plans from another pocketship builder for cutting a big slot in the transom but like you I think I will go with a similar bracket and leave that beautiful transom alone (except for the couple of necessary mounting holes).

Hi everyone,

Finally launched the boat in Dana Point harbor CA. Everything worked perfectly, sailed great in 12 knotts of wind. Motor pushed the boat along with little effort. Can't wait to go again.

You did a beautiful , beautiful job. Your boat comes close to a piece of art. Congratulation on a wonderful job....You absolutely deserve a lot of fun on this beautiful boat....Enjoy and may Neptune provide great experiences on the water....Thank you for all the pictures and comments.
