I raised my mainsail for the first time (on my driveway) and found that the boom wouldn't clear the gallows. I released the tack from the boom gooseneck to allow the sail to be raised more and that did the trick. It looks like I'll need to re-mount the boom gooseneck up quite a bit. I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue.

Try it on the water first. My gallows are a bit high, and I may shorten it by 2" or so someday.
But anyway, when you're on the water and the wind fills the mainsail, the end of the boom rises and you'll have better clearance.
