PocketShip Hull Speed

Had a question that I'd thought I'd throw out to the PocketShip community. In your experience, where would you peg PocketShip's hull speed?

I think it's been pretty universally observed to be above the ~5 kts that you'd get from the typical 1.34 S/L ratio. I've always found 6 kts (by the GPS) pretty readily attainable, but always have some level of tidal currents present complicating the GPS measurement. I've seen reports of even faster speeds, but would like to get an idea of the plurality people's experience.

Jon,
I don’t usually have a gps with but I have measured 6.5 kts sailing on a lake (no current). I think she may have gone faster but I have no way to confirm that.

I have had mine up to 9.7 knots with a lot of current and waves : ). That was with two reefs in the sail : 0
