Fibreglass on the forward deck

Postby SMHolmans on Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:44 pm

Hi all. How many layers of fibreglass cloth do builders apply to the forward deck, please?

Thanks!

Hi,

I put several layers on reasoning that the forward deck might take rough wear, standing on it to raise the mast, storing an anchor there, etc.

All the best,
Mark

Thanks Mark. I thought the same as you … I'm going to add three layers and see how strong it feels.
