Tiller Retention in rudder

Postby wmewheel on Wed Jul 08, 2020 8:11 am

I don't see any mechanism for retaining the tiller in the rudder.

Is there one?

Thanks,
Mark

In the stock build there isn't (I believe). It doesn't come out in practice. I did eventually put one in on my boat - just drilled a hole through the end of the tiller where it exits the rudder, and tied a small piece of rope through it. That blocks the tiller from pulling through.
