Greeting,

I have progressed in my build to making the floor, and having just completed the first lift out section. I placed it between floors 4 and 6 as the manual calls for, but now see a lot of others have moved it one floor position forward to between 3 to 5. Is there a reason for this that I’ve missed?

Actually, couldn't it run from 3 to 6, to give you even more access?
Or possibly even the entire length could be removeable?

I just installed my floorboards last week (with the removeable parts done according to the plans), and before
I could spend much time admiring them, I had to cover them up to prepare for the deck installation.

True, they propably could. I think it is inevitable that things are going to fall through the gaps into the bilge, so it would be good to have access. However it is too late for me as I’ve cut the boards . I will leave the screw heads exposed to allow at least slow access.
