flipping pocketship

I have this idea I can't shake.
Take the build cradle and just continue it around in the (nearly circular) profile around the boat in 3/4 ply.
Mount some trailer rollers on the ground in a bracket. 2 per frame.
Re-enforce and cut the build frame in a near circle, so now the boat has 2 collars 360 degrees around it.
Spin the boat.
Has this been done?

I thought of a similar idea as well and have seen some YouTube Videos of a cradle going all the way around. In the end I had some friends and family over for pizza and beer and it took 5 minutes. It was a lot of fun!

Here is a video I did of the 1st flip.

I do recommend the furniture dollies. They raise it some, but make it easy to move around.

Thanks

Thanks,
At first it seemed crazy but I think I want to try it.
I have plenty of time to consider.
I’m building in a temporary shelter and I have to turn it in it’s own space.
A gantry and sling would work but You still have to set it down securely upside down.

So I flipped the boat yesterday with the help of my son
I extended the building cradle 360
Basically in an octagon
45 degrees at a time
No drama, two people were enough
Now it’s upside down on a cradle
