Pocketship Owners,

How are you boarding Pocketship from the lake. Please describe how difficult it is and any modifications you've made to make it possible and/or easier.

Best,
Brent

Hello Brent,

If you search under “reboarding step” you will see some good suggestions.

I installed a reboarding step as shown but did not include an offset spacer; I simply attached it directly to the transom. I have swam off my PocketShip and reboarding is no problem.

Pg 231 in the build manual also states that the rudder endplate works as a step climbing back in from the water. I'm assuming a second step is definitely desirable. Most that I have seen have been of the folding variety like this one - https://www.fisheriessupply.com/sea-dog ... lding-step

This less expensive version also looks usable: https://sea-dog.com/groups/896-step-handle
