New to the board

Hello all. I’m at the tail end of completing a Jimmy Skiff II and am seriously contemplating Pocket Ship. Got the manual the other day and am in process of reading through and checking out all the great construction blogs that I can. Grateful that there’s a board here dedicated to PS. I’m wondering…is there by chance anyone with a sailing PS on the LA, AL or MS Gulf Coast that might be willing to host a quick and simple visit? Could meet you wherever you like so to avoid having some weirdo you don’t know at your house.

Before I start such a large project/investment I would like to have a tactile feel for cabin and cockpit size. I’ll use it for lots of things that I already know it’s big enough for, but one thing I want to make sure of is that it’s big enough for 4 adults to take late afternoon cocktail cruises: light wind/sea, just poking along, chatting.
