I'm seeing that now too. Not simply clicking on the link I mentioned earlier. But then it lets me log in. Most certainly just a site glitch. I was beginning to worry I forgot to wear deodorant one day or something! ;-)

Hi Guys, it's been I while since I posted any build updates. I have been doing a bit of travelling but I'm back in the workshop now and can happily report the following.
The forward anchor locker is now completed. The inside is painted, and the locker is fully sealed so as to provide buoyancy. I also made a decorative plaque which will be glued to the anchor locker lid.
I have continued laying the cockpit fillets and commenced the cabin top sills that prevent water from entering the cabin.
Check out the Blog for latest Pics and a full description.

We are mostly done with fitting out the hull. Our (removable) tabernacle and bowsprit have been installed. The mast and shrouds are ready and yesterday we had the mast raised for the first time. The jib was set and we successfully tried the roller-furler. We still need some time to adjust things until we have a good setting.

The boom is done but still requires varnish before we can start to install hardware to it. The gaff awaits if first coat of epoxy. In the next weeks, we won't have much time to work on the boat. The plan is to have the main sail ready for the first official launch by the end of August or September.

Hi everyone,

Like Terry, I've not posted on my blog in quite a while and frankly haven't been in the shop much. I added three new posts yesterday and day, check em out.

I finally have my sides and transom on and after a tad more sanding and paint I'll be ready to fit my cockpit deck! The side and transom already change the feel of the built significantly and I can't wait to add that decking.

Here's to good progress!

Hello, friends!
Finally, I reached another major milestone - the first hull flip.
Now I will work on covering the bottom with fiberglass.

Thank you, Martin!

The advice I want to give to everyone when I'm at this stage is to work carefully! After flipping the boat I was faced with a lot of sanding to remove drips and the effects of sloppy work with the epoxy.

Firstly, well done Dmitriy on the flip, another milestone for you.
I have completed a few more sections since my last status entry. It has all been work around the cabin top involving the following:
1) Installation of the sills.
2) The Sea Hood and slide, this was a great project (with a few minor mods) I really enjoyed the assembly and adjustments required to ensure it fitted well, the slide was smooth, and it looked good. It's a shame all this work is removed and stored until the boat is flipped back.
3) Grab rails replacing the toe rails. Another good project and again all this work only to remove and store until flipped back.
4) The plywood flange that surrounds the inside edge of the companionway.
5) Glassing the cabin top deck.
Next will be cockpit work involving more filets, lots of sanding and glassing and lots more sanding. I have been putting this off but it's time to bite the bullet.
For pics and a more detailed description check out the Blog.
Cheers Terry

There had been lots of small details to be done at our boat [1]. Now, mast and boom are done and all hardware is attached. We are about to finish work on the gaff soon. The attachment of the main sail will be the final step of our build.

Cheers, Dietrich

Ok, she is launched [1]. Our build status is 'finished'.

We started end of November 2021 and finished our build end of August 2024. According to our logbook, the build took us close to 1400 hours.
