"Piccolo" launched

Hello Fellow Builders,

yesterday we enjoyed the hospitality of a nearby sailing to club to use their ramp with an option to leave the boat at the lake for a couple of days. The gaff and main sail were attached and lots of small things sorted out. And yes, we really sailed the boat for the first time. Although we had little wind, the boat achieved hull speed close to five knots a few times. We still have to attach the reefing lines and sort out of a few details. Things are quite busy as we want to leave for our first four day trip next week ...

At the rig we differed from the manual in some aspects (I'll update this in the topic "Pocketship build in Europe" in a few days).

Thank you for support and answering all my questions during the past (almost) three years. For sure I'll have more questions on sail trim after our first sails.

Cheers, Dietrich
