I finally got my act together for my first overnight cruise this past weekend. Weather was good on Saturday, though winds were a bit light. A friend of mine went along in his Macgregor. We were in the Potomac and wanted to get down to mallows bay, by the wind was against us. So we went up a small bay in the Maryland side and found a a good anchorage. Had a little rain but I had cobbled together a tarp so all was well. I obviously have some improvements to make on it. My cooking setup worked great. Pocketship is nicely sized for solo, I think it would be tough to overnight with two, especially with all the stuff. I do need to get much more organized; I had just about everything in a big duffle and was constantly hunting for what I needed. I think if I put dividers in the duffle it would work much better. It rained on and off on the way back Sunday, but I had a new rain jacket and it was warm out so it was fine. Pocketship is compact, but I did not feel cramped. Looking forward to the next adventure.bb
