Wiring the side panels - bow to stern?

Postby Dmksails on Sun Mar 09, 2025 6:49 pm

I'm getting ready to wire in the side panels. The manual says to wire this is from the stern to the bow. I also see that alot of builds have had issues with the panels meeting in the bow.

Has anyone tried wiring these panels starting at the bow? I'm wondering if that might work better.

I ended up starting at the bow. It was really difficult to get the panels to meet there if starting anywhere else.

Was not an issue and everything went well. I think I loosely supported them about midway first though.

I was one of those that could never get the side/bottom panels to meet at the bow. Wound up with a quarter inch gap that I just filled with epoxy.

It shouldn't hurt anything to TRY and start at the bow. Just waste some wires at most. Go for it!
