Hi, does anybody know where to find the lengths of the sheets and halyards?
Or do I need to measure that myself?

Kind regards
Arjen

Look on the CLC website for the running rigging / details. I think the qty is the length of each. Also has the sizes there.

Thanks

Aha, finally have the coveted info. the page on the PS rigging lists the halyard sheet lengths but not what they're destined for:

Peak Halyard - 60' x 1/4"
Throat Halyard - 50' x 1/4"
Jib Halyard - 45' x 1/4"
Jib Furler - 25' x 4mm
Jib Sheets - 30' x 3/8"
Main Sheet - 50' x 3/8"
Spinnaker Halyard - 50' x 1/4"
Spinnaker Sheet - 20' x 1/4"

The one glaring omission in the line list I found was the main outhaul which appears to be easily handled with 20' x 1/4" (I just used the spinnaker sheet since I'm not using the spinnaker for at least a few trips out and will get a replacement)

CLC's listed lengths are quite generous, and I have trimmed most of my halyards by 3 feet or so.

BTW, The plans and rope list don't really cover reefing. You really want a reefing setup that is not too cumbersome to use when needed.
I installed the same jiffy reefing setup that Pocketship #1 currently has, and it works great for me.

Here is what John Staub told me about it:

"John's set-up for reefing on our boat is genius. It forces you to stand in the safest part of the boat while underway - directly in the companionway.
This can be a lifesaver in rapidly changing conditions, or when you find yourself realizing the time to reef was in the past.
All the control lines are at arm's length and the sail takes its new shape with just a tug of the line. I know he'd still endorse the setup and I'd second it every time."

Doug, thanks for that. I've noticed a few extra lengths but was going to wait for a few ups and downs after trailering before committing to sizing. After re-reading some of the posts, the lengths had been made a bit longer than necessary to account for people extending lengths of the various lumber and differences in rigging component locations. I had already noticed the fun of trying to reef single handed while on the trailer with a switching wind. Is there a link to PocketShip #1's reefing setup? I searched for jiffy reefing and came up with everything but that in the forums. I was going to follow something similar to this route https://stingysailor.com/2023/01/14/single-line-jiffy-reefing-2/ which forces standing in the companionway as well. I'm open to other suggestions and I have some additional line on the way to account for the spinnakers which would allow me to set up reefing as well since both lengths are 100 ft. I know I always have use for rope somewhere.

I figured out the reefing design by carefully studying all the relevant photos on the CLC Pocketship web page.
The exact swiveling block/cleat they used has been discontinued by Harken, and they now sell a larger, uglier plastic version.

I wouldn't bother Harken. I used Viadana for all the blocks. Absolutely High quality but around half the kosts...
